Folding back the corner
quilted, puffy bits
patchwork patterns
in soft repose
my love for gardens
as a bird sang
my heart
my heart soar...
so swift
so sure
those prints of my digits
deep into the sand
~snore~

AAaaahhhh......warmth of cuddly comfort here, mo Chara! This reminds me of falling asleep beneath my favorite patchwork quilt....dreaming dreams of contentment. (Sigh....)

I am digging the love poetry today and so glad I stumbled across this little piece as I fleetingly dipped my foot into DU. It sounds so gentile and momentary. It's interesting you put 'snore' at the end - to me this poem felt very much like waking.
Beautiful, my dear. Thank you for sharing.

Waking of the other kind my Dear....I had gone so long without proper rest or the ability to sleep peacefully....this was right before one of the best rests, I received in a long time.

So soothing! It seems you struggle towards wakefulness to no avail. But such dreams! Fine work whatever the time...
