Sitting on the porch, rain dancing off the roof
Barbie curled at my feet
Life is good
Thoughts of bygone days
and of those to come
where I've been and things I've done
lives I've touched and those not yet
content in memories, no regrets

It was one of those days that never seems to be far from my thoughts,
Some would call it a moment of awareness or awakening.
All of us have done things we should be sorry for doing, should make amends for, apologize to the recipient of our deed. Yet, I do not regret that moment happened, for how else do we learn from it.
I suppose regret may not be the correct word, but for me it is a matter of semantics.
Thank You, my brother, for all the honor you have bestowed on a soul that is truly not worthy of it.
