The Park
We just call it the park
There are several in the nabe
Only one has our hearts
We went there all the time with our dog
Especially in summer
Her ashes are buried there
Behind a bench where the wild flowers grow
It's still hard after 3 months
When does the pain subside
If ever

Only one has our hearts
We went there all the time with our dog
Especially in summer
Her ashes are buried there
Behind a bench where the wild flowers grow
It's still hard after 3 months
When does the pain subside
If ever

Boss.. it gets easier, but the pain of loss, turned to memories i rejoice in.. everybody takes it differently.. unfortunately i buried him on a homestead, the lending companies took advantage of.. long story.. but i can't even visit his resting place.. but i feel you...

Oh dear Poe...I will say when you walk that park in between chatter listen for her...her tags, a sneeze, a pant...she's walking beside you...Ginger wouldn't ever allow you two to walk the park without her...

It doesn't ever go away entirely. It will still sneak up on you from time to time. They take parts of our hearts with them. But they leave an imprint in our world that doesn't fade either. We have memories and years blessed with their presence. So many hugs for you...

I know this will not be helpful but I don't think love lost is ever forgotten - we may appear to get over it but that is only temporary in nature as a reminder is just round the corner :-(
sorry to piss on your cherrios mate :-) excellent write :-)

I wrote a lot about her when she was alive and alot now that she has passed. She was 16 1/2, I had her for 15 1/2 years. It was an honor to give her a home ......

Oh my gosh I'm so very sorry papi that she passed away. I know the pain. She's so precious! You gave her a wonderful home and the best resting place. You're a great master.
You will always cherish her, but time will male it a little easier when you think of her.
