a thousand thousands

once in a Lifetime, choice
includes an Ace from the deck
of cards we've dealt ourselves

we'll meet Trust after betrayal
in our evolutionary process, pause
for a leisurely picnic lunch

with all our favorite philosophies
beliefs, and longing aspirations
released from human inadequacy

we'll open the best Wine of Words
as well as Ourselves, swallow
the Poetry of Honesty and Truth

we'll get tipsy, let our hair down -
be Us, for once in this existence
without expectation or demands

realize our minds have fucked
one hundred million ways
from various perceptions

for Millenniums, plus
a thousand thousand years
through Infinite choice

( such as this simple picnic )
knowing such Trust is yet
to scratch the surface

and just when we're ready
to part in gratitude, thinking it
couldn't get any better, Life says

"Watch this!" and sends us both
( in whatever Time it allots )
