HAIKU 575
I tried to write a haiku. Complex simplicity
But to me it appeared to me that simplicity
isn't nearly as easy to speak about
as simple complexity
Nothing in life is simple
and if it can be described
in seventeen syllables then, well, Hell,
why even attempt to mention it?
It's BULLSHIT!!!
Don't even bother!!
My brothers and sisters, don't get me wrong
turn your invention into tension and then pass me the bong
then fix it and mix it with a sweet follow on
and make it a chorus with a beat trailing on
then say FUCK YOU! and turn your haiku into a sweet ass song

I think there is beauty in all poetry, I did however not find simplicity in writing Haikus, quite the reverse :-)

Fair enough, man. I appreciate Haiku, I'm just not good at it. I enjoy reading some of those few that are written by those who have mastered the craft.
