Day by day the drips descend
coating a soul left lying to fend
harsh realities of a homeless heart
Troubled the time tries to mend
weaving her way past the defenses
into the vast unknown now roam
Light sparking light darkness unfolds
daily lifts to corners rarely creased
warm fills the night and tomorrows never cease
