The Deepest Grey
The cruelty of years a curse
Peril to those who raise the mask
The visage beneath a relic
Ravaged in private wars
She doesn't seem to mind the scars
The blade marks furrowing his cheeks
The eyes contain experience
Gleaming as her gown drops to the floor
She takes her elder by the hand
Lays him down on silks and velvet
He relishes her mysteries
Maintains the skill to make them shine
Stir their pulse when the flames take hold.

A great reference
to the Amal`s & George`s
lingering in this world;
great wisdom and
knowledge
lay within the hands
of "grey"
and I believe
that it`s at that point
when life no longer
becomes dull
and boring
but rather a great
experience.
This is an incredible piece of
mature and classic
eroticism, Sir Fly ...
take a bow
~love to you, Devlin

Thank you for that kind and eloquent comment, Dev. Made my day! My own grey's are here to stay.

Thanks Grace. When I hear "You're old enough to be my father!" or "I'm half your age!" I realize they've got much to learn. If only they'd hold still...

That's why chloroform was invented. Charming write. Clooney is a testament to good things coming to those who wait.

Thank you sir. I respect Clooney based on what I know of him. He's got the kind of star quality you don't find much any more in Hollywood.

.. .I've read and have imagined some beautiful
things..but this just took me out of myself.
How real and rawly passionate
Love the selflessness you give..

And I can't resist playing with flames. Kind of makes me a patsy at times. Thanks John.

Such lovely lines...in honor of all the Amals and Georges of this world! So often when souls bind, it is with the heart that both truly see....
There is much wisdom in your words--indeed, mo Chara! Experience really is the best teacher....and in passion, and love, a fortunate pupil, one would be to have those 'lessons' learned in this way-----
( especially if you were the teacher.....) :)

I agree with you about the heart, Enchantress. The eyes all-too-rarely get beneath the surface. Thanks for the eloquent comment!
