The Look - - - - - Inspired by Poetspeak
You gave me that look
You know: the why look
Why, oh why, oh why
A look deliberately harsh
To make me look small
To make me insignificant
I never got use to that look
It surly worked every time
I could never stand up to it
I was just never that brave
Inside I would cower like a dog
And it was only a matter of time
Before you grew a smug smile
Knowing I was beat down
Knowing I was your doormat
You and the look broke me
You and the look changed me
Something inside snapped
You gave me that look again
I have no Idea why I am here
Standing in your busy office
Completely naked apart from
A red paisley cravat and eye patch
I can’t explain my striptease
And the professional dad dancing
I can explain why I took a shit
And a piss on your work station
I can’t explain wiping my ass
On your bosses Armani suit
Or cleaning and rubbing my cock
On your fur hat and gloves
I can’t explain why I am singing
‘Ooooooooooppps I did it again’
When this is definitely a first
Still; I am the one, this time
Who is forming the smug smile
