poetry (senryu)

Beautiful written senryu, and the photo compares to it awesomely . . .

I guess I'm from the old school, my friend, but I learned that haiku is about nature and senryu is about everything else.

The japs seem to have modified the haiku
now all write haikus
on things
not genuinely about nature

This poem crams so much depth into such a small space. It's heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. Rarely have I seen someone do so much with so little in a poem.
