existence
[font=Lucida Sans Unicode,Lucida Grande]
it's not a beginning
that charts our course
but an ending
one cannot begin
to catalog remembering
until departing origin
between birth and death
lies a balance of Earthly
hope and experience
thus beginning to end
is eternally archived
from each existence
until we return from
the womb we were born
~

Every beginning has an end and every end is another beginning. One of those cycle things. Beautifully written, Ahavati ☺

Truly love this piece, and all in which it represents.
So very true, and beautifully woven together. 💓

Ahavti, interestingly enough, i was just penning something very similar to this theme but your poem summarizes perfectly.

ok, the ending may chart the course,
but I like the bit in the middle, where
we all get lost... :)

Excellent! The birth of mankind, the happiness and joy, the trials and tribulations we experience, is merely the journey toward from whence we came. You wrote this well.

Yes, Ahavati:) you are so right...the destination is all the same. Only the journey matters.

treasuries of beauty here and mystical charm, a sparse little poem that runs deep
(and a cool choice of painting too boot!)
very well done my friend

Ahavati, I have been on this site for 2 1/2 years...and even though I "know" you....seen your comments repeatedly, seen you on the top poems in last 30 days over and over and over, a permanent fixture...I will be honest and say I have no idea why I never stopped by for a read before...but "change" is one of the things in this life which is guaranteed...ironic...
Today I opened you up and randomly clicked and this...this speaks to me in so many ways more than just one and if you don't mind, I'm going to hold onto it...uplifting ink...Thank you for gracing us with this piece...
xoxo Taryn
