who says rules must be followed?
the government?
art should be free
not trapped and ordered
it's just because
colors paint visions
true visions
that the government does not want you to see
they can take the colors away
but will never take our visions
our illusions
the true picture
when illusions remains the same
it's no longer an illusion
it's just an order
to remain the same
but why?
why should our dreams be torn
oh yes because
art is always criticized and the outsider gets the blame
the government?

I hope not to offend as I found this to be a GREAT work..great subject, controversial. Although, it would read smoother with a couple of grammar corrections. First stanza needs the word MUST, rather than can (b4followed). Second stanza should be DOES NOT, rather than "don't" (which is to mean do not) after government. And lastly, "an" before illusions in stanza four should be dropped, it implies singular, and illusions is plural. Please know that I read the poem over and over as I found it to be rich and with foundation, I enjoyed the piece.

Beautiful, Smooth, Defined, and with a great flow. I so love this piece! Not to mention true true and true!
