Best Laid Plan

All that he can now surmise
Concluding bitter ends
Wise to learn to strategize
And see what the future lends

Fear of that advancing age
Fear of the unknown
The sage will finally turn the page
When the eternal light is shown

Wish he could stick to the plan
Living free from  sin
But when she says that he's her man
He'll let the games begin.
