Writer Block
A stumblingblock
Lain before my pen
It will not weep
I cannot paint
My alaphabet is broken
A blank wall of white
Is all I seem to conjur.
Lain before my pen
It will not weep
I cannot paint
My alaphabet is broken
A blank wall of white
Is all I seem to conjur.

Indeed it will, I just usually can shake writers block very easily, it has been a prolonged case this time.
Thank you for the read and comment!

I agree with Nemo Omen. When words seem to disappear simply stop. Most poems are too long and many over-egged . . . . . leave the reader to add to your writing by giving the reader space I rarely make public judgements and when I do I treat the poem as two halves . . . . .the poem ( its construction ) and the subject which has little to do with me being entirely the choice of the writer.Should I wish to comment I do this privately; perhaps setting up a dialogue.I like this little poem it has a message more than many poems convey

Well, I don't think it could have been more perfectly nor succinctly put. The anguish of all that empty space. So sadly familiar. Great write.

Well, thank you for saying so! I was just so discouraged because of my writer's block I was going through that I decided to use it to write something. It broke me out of it, oddly enough. Appreciate you reading!
