In My Shell

Have you ever been there
I mean that place called "hell"
To me it is wanting to get out
But remaining in your shell

And you cannot do or say
The keenest things you are feeling
Just watching from afar
With all your senses reeling

Now there is this woman I fancy
But of course she is carried
Now do not take that literally
Of course I mean she is married

Some say the beautiful ones are not yet born
To that school I was a believer
Until I saw this damsel
Now I know that thought  is a deciever

She is my definition of beauty
Tall and graceful with stature divine
Calm and collected,cool and curvy
And never stingy with her smile

When she walks around she causes commotion
Jaws drop and heads turn
Timid women cower others jealous
Lustful eyes are taken by storm

There is nothing I can do but stare away
Locking every thing I feel within
For fear I might explode from feelings concealed
Finally I confided in a friend

There she stood as I pointed her to my friend
"There, that's the woman I always wanted"
But alas she's taken,my friend laughed and said
"True she's taken but only for granted!"
