Reflections of love ...

My C O S M O ~

She dwells in the madness of what could have been ...
 
a waterfall
that drops into a deep
clear pool
 
she finds his reflection there
so radiant,
he is so blissfully happy  
his blue eyes shining  
 
she lays down
gazing at him,
mesmerized once more
by the beauty of him
his soul shining so vividly
 
she brings her face closer
he pushes himself up towards her
if only to touch her one more time,
her lips touch the surface  
feeling the cool ripple of his lips
below her, and in that instant
he is there and gone
 
she can taste him on her lips,
sweet, fresh as morning,
her longing sharp as a blade,
she knows she can't go on  
without him any longer,
 
while he walked the earth with her
she would gaze up at him,
he had become her whole sky,
now, he was the only pool
she wanted to drown herself in,
 
she removes her outer garments  
frees her hair,  
and dives in...
