Dirt Off A Shovel

Don’t throw your dirt at me
The dirt you throw at others
In the main behind their back
Not brave enough for frontal assault
You’re clearly not to be trusted
A two faced back stabber

Don’t throw your dirt at me
The dirt you throw to put me down
The nipping dirt of sarcasm
The dust of lies and half truths
The dirt that makes you feel
Superior, even when you’re not

Don’t throw your dirt at me
I won’t throw my dirt at you
I’ve got lots of dirt to throw
You’re such an easy target
You’ve always been a cunt
Not sure why I even bother

Don’t throw your dirt at me
Don’t throw any dirt at me
Not even the dirt off the shovel
When they stick me in the ground
Ironically the only time I can think of
When I would want you to be with me
