Shedding my skin

Mind on fire, flesh ablaze
Soul aching

Through hungry eyes it screams
these burning embers of depravity

Haunted
With this apparition on my back

My phantom heart beats once more

Can you hear the echoes from my
chest cavity?

Whispering secrets my body knows
not how to keep..

Craving the control

Your grasp coiled around
my desire..
Where in my mind
I kneel before you

Wanting so badly for you
to tighten your hold..

When I can no longer differentiate between
Need, and want

everything  else becomes a blur

It's easy to lose sight of myself
When I'm caught up in your vision

And I wonder....
