Crows
I found myself, caught, tangled up, in Lucifer's
dream catcher.
Contrary to, what, one might, assume.
Even, the devil, sleeps.
to my surprise, he dreamt of me.
When I was a girl, I remember,
Sitting in Lafayette cemetery.
Writing love letters, to Azazael.
My heart, bled, words, onto parchment.
Spilling, my darkest secrets, acting out, the hidden fantasies, that long while, played through, my head.
My desires, that were, unfathomable, among
my peers, I would sit there, in the company
of crows. In...

Sticks and stones
sticks and stones (just break my bones)
you want me, but I don't
I love you, now you won't
chaos the addiction
you're my favorite poison
my wounds are your affliction
you beg, for absolution
sticks and stones? Make your idle threats
watch me feast on your regret
got me etched into your bones
can't pay off your debts
I'm your favorite drug
when my heart beats silence
you're screaming from your lungs
about how my love is like violence
flames were spitting from our tongues
your kiss tastes like premeditation ...
you want me, but I don't

Shedding my skin
Mind on fire, flesh ablaze
Soul aching
Through hungry eyes it screams
these burning embers of depravity
Haunted
With this apparition on my back
My phantom heart beats once more
Can you hear the echoes from my
chest cavity?
Whispering secrets my body knows
not how to keep..
Craving the control
Your grasp coiled around
my desire..
Where in my mind
I kneel before you
Wanting so badly for you
to tighten your hold..
When I can no longer differentiate between
Need, and want

Lovers in the dark
I'm not innocent..
But who am I to trust?
I'm dead inside
still alive...
enough to touch you
Cast away, my solitude
has been my curse
Damned to love in shadows
I hide my face
It's the only way
I know how to reach you
When I can't reach myself
I don't recognize the truth
with my reflection staring
back at me
Somehow you still see me
In the darkness
When I can't see myself
I take in your breath of life
to taste the essence of hope
at the thought of your kiss
why am I trying?

But who am I to trust?

The voice of yearning
Taken with a grain of salt..
Empty is the heart that waits.
Unseen, it's rythyms remain.
Unheard is the voice of yearning
It's echoes fade into the silence
It has become.
Blind are the eyes of reason.
Who's sight has become clouded
By the thin grey line that carries over
the black, lingering against the pale.
Broken are the pieces of her dreams
That reflect from the mirror
of her distorted image
Hope is the thought that drives
the heart to continue in it's shallow
beating
Fear are the shackles that...

with an inhale of the essence these fumes of desire
coating my lungs with the foulest of intentions

Wishing well. (100 word Hemingway sectional poetry)
I found her in the bottom of a wishing well. When I was drunk on my longing and chasing dreams....
"Don't look me in the eye" I told her with tears pooling the corners of my sorrowful eyes as I turned away.
Her energy drew me back to my reflection, where she cradled me in her arms the way
I secretly went to bed every night wanting that more than anything I could ever imagine.... That tangible moment I craved.
"what are you afraid of? " she asked..
In silence I pondered for a moment...
"that you might love me back....

Caught in the eclipse
I bite my tongue
Content , neither warm nor cold.
Quiet, silently basking in screams
My thoughts flash like a strobe
Everescent colors blink through the cracks
Time's eternal clock slowly ticks away
Yet I can't distinguish a second from a day
Everything's a blur while I watch my Venus burn
With no view for a kill...
A new moon rises, you are the earth and the sun. ..
as it passes between the layers..
All that you are lies hidden in darkness.

I'm trapped inside the black.
My hunger leaves me...
Content , neither warm nor cold.

A demon's fate
Oh dark one, who's beauty rests in shadows
Who has forsaken the light, and fallen here
Taken by the mystery of pitch black in all
of its high hopes, seduced by the depravity
That is the human condition..
Weakness has lead you here
you've followed the bread crumbs
to this wretched smell of sage
That fills your lungs
Penetrating me with its vile purpose
Her words have poisoned your brain
the way you poison my heart
You disappoint me, bringing me here
to this place..
This foreign land where the damned are buried
Then...
Who has forsaken the light, and fallen here
