The End Of Their Days
The sun comes rising through the broken windows
The half dead grumble and cover up their eyes
When that burning orb drops they’ll rise themselves to find a way
To come back here to kill themselves some more again
The girls stand waiting for a ride with danger
To earn ten bucks by getting off some stranger
Risk their lives each time they open up those doors
They just don’t care because they just want more
Chasing the dragon right through the night
Make some dealer richer every time they buy
And they know deep down that soon they’re going to die
And they just don’t care
The boys knock loudly on some likely door
To make sure nobody waits inside to catch them there
Too weak to fight if someone waits inside
They grab what they can sell to make sure they score
Not a single one has even seen a meal
Since the day before they remember
As they begin to bloat from a massive hunger
They weaken slowly but when they're high it's just not real
In the dark of the night they begin to toke
Bic lighters and candles bring them light to smoke
Or they find that vein that hasn’t shrunk and died
Either way they win and lose at the same damn time
And one morning when Sol begins to lighten the sky
They find someone has had the nerve to go and die
And so they leave this place in search to find
Another place to burn their lives away
And they’re throwing it all to hell
It’s just a matter of what day
And they don’t seem to care
It means nothing to them anyway
