Thank you so much, Ms. Jackie. I enjoy the challenge of cramming a bunch of meaning into 17 syllables. I was reminded of the Rumspringa tradition when I watchyed an episode of Longmire that featured the practice.

Tommie, thank you! I was actually wondering if you had the Amish or Mennonites in your neck of the woods. Upstate NY seems like it would suit their purposes well. I'm sure you've provoked more than a few "OH MY's" from the Rumspringa youths :)

I had to look up Rumspringa, but as a mid-life adult with a woefully adolescent attitude, I really appreciate the sentiment!  Nicely written.
