Sometimes I Wish Instead Of
Sometimes I wish I were simple
Sometimes I wish I saw the moon as something far away
Instead of a division between the darkness I know and the light that lies beyond this point, which is ever so close but seems to be unattainable
Sometimes I wish I saw puddles as bodies of water
Instead of a sad reflection which reveals the deepest parts of me that are all too shallow
Sometimes I wish I saw a happy face
Instead of a sad one

Oh wow...that's deep ..especially the part of puddles depicting your essence and how you describe the deepest parts of yourself as close to the surface...I can relate to this...nice write
