A WANNABE...

I wanna be a rock star, Not just any old rock star either. I wannabe a smashing, successful billionaire with respect kinda rock star.                                                                                          ¤                                                                                                                  I've practiced and practiced so I'd be a sure success. I've bruised many ears black and blue, yeah, even mine to.                                   ¤                                                               Memorizing the lyrics, what a snap to do. Singing along so the notes and tones are tried and true.                                             ¤                                                           I tried to ask Santa man once, even brave enough to sing a note or two. Why that rude, CHERRY cheeked jolly old man, he just ho ho ho'd. I jest you not, tis sad but true.                                                   ¤                                                            When that beat hits my toes, gotta shake my money maker till I bout turn
blue. Feel as free as a gypsy traveling thru.        ¤                                                         Dude, I got soul to. Emotions known only to the good lord come wailing thru. So, see I'm tellin you, I've got it all. To Hollywood I'm ready to jet.                ¤                                                          But a wannabe is all I'll ever be. See, while shaking my money maker, I butt dialed the record button. Oh lordy lordy, did I ever deceive me.                    ¤                                                          My money maker a shaking, has put quite the fright in me and Caterwauling is the only gift gifted to me. With not a hint of talent, you see, a wannabe is all I'll ever be.                                    ¤
