“Time throws you out of its dimensionless planar
like a boomerang. It unites with you again in death.”
~ Vishwanath S J
I am content with
what this moment holds
and what it doesn’t.
But, sometimes I feel
the flip of your wrist
retract landing gear.
Prefrontal cortex pilot
sailing airfoil wings
toward the tarmac
of our birth.
How fortunate are we;
boomerangs return.

I used to tell myself
that I lived for the moment,
but then there were times
when I lived despite it...
that I lived for the moment,
but then there were times
when I lived despite it...

Sweet gods this is soo
hitting my heart, no words
for the beauty of this..
cannot find any..
I am spiritually churned and
charged just from reading.

Ahhh, Ahavati, luv ~ :-*
How I have missed you and the way you evoke thought!
I am finding this metaphor of boomerang exquisitely fascinating, luv, especially when I consider another crucial facet of boomerangs. And, I wonder, as I ponder this, whether you had any of this in mind when you wrote this or if I'm headed off into the aether on this one. :-p
So, though boomerangs return oft-times, when they connect to that which they have sought or been sent seeking, they remain, ne c'est pas? I am riveted to the idea that, mayhap, there is a correlation here. That once connected to the Source (is there one? Mayhap, one philosophical conundrum at a time, eh? ;-p), mayhap not a return, or a return in a wholly different way: no longer matter, perhaps pure energy, light, love...
Hmmm... I'm off on a tangent again, but you see what reading your works invariably does for me, luv. I will be cogitating all the remainder of the day.
Merci beaucoup, ma chérie, mille fois... :-*

The boomerang that finds it's target has no need to return and, if it doesn't, becomes a boomerang reincarnate?

Moments, happy and sad, help us become fully aware
of the reason we are here.
Wonderful strength is so little words!!!
Enjoyed...
