Sounds like a release from the prison of the flesh. "Long will live the rest." The "rest" could well be the soul, still very much alive and on its way. I love this Gahdess! Good luck with that comp....

Thank you Crow! I appreciate your take on this piece. I struggle with the parts of life that I know will eventually cause me harm. Those are the parts that I wish dead. The rest is living a life without those burdens weighing me down.
