"Unilateral; (The Broken Rhythm)."

Have You ever noticed the, "In Time,"
rhythm of a cats tail under a rocking-chair

Glider rocks back;
Cats tail curls forward

Seemingly in slow-motion

But more times than not,
the pattern is never broken

The recoil of experiencing
first-hand, the inhumane
horrors that were once only
seen on the television as...

Blockbusters to entertain
all of us

Desensitized to believe the
fantasy that the world was
only an screenplay where
everything ended good
and nothing more the...

Bleak

Lulled into sleep

Rationed gradually into a
rhythm where all things
move in unison and
perfectly aligned...

Are Lulled into sleep

Until the day when the black
cat flinches at a lizard out
of instinct; and the blase
spectrum loses its sync

Man doesn't have to experience
the horrors of war firsthand to
become inhumane

Propagandized reel by reel, his
morality and sensitivities are
stripped-away until nothing but
rot and decay are all he feels

No atrocities to tell as far as human
suffering goes; just the steady
rhythm of necrosis beneath the
surface of the mind until the
day when the whole systems
rhythm comes undone
