Wildfire of 2015

I don't have a lot to add
but don't let that make you glad
it just means that you've lost me

I've tried so hard, but I'm tired
and your feelings are like wildfire
I never know which way they'll burn

When you want me, you want me bad
when you don't, it's like you never have
back and forth, a case of whiplash

I'm the fool who signed on anyways
knowing full well we'd go up in flames
but the heat of us was worth all the wreck

Why don't we call us a good try
but throw in a goodbye
so we can get to feeling better now

I won't say bad things about you
I'll always be glad that I found you
but I think you're better suited to memory

Just remember me
remember me
your wildfire of 2015.
