Black Watch
A black night
Strong arms
One star shone down
My heart beat foster when you whispered
“Shh…”
There were others watching
But I could not explain to them
The motions I felt
With your arms around me
I saw the ground
But you lifted me up
I couldn’t touch it
You didn’t kiss me
But I leaned on you like
You were granite and you
Stayed right there
It is innocent
For now
But I could love you for a moment
It must be something in your eyes
For when they looked at me
They promised
That someday you and I my friend
Will be more than what we are now
Strong arms
One star shone down
My heart beat foster when you whispered
“Shh…”
There were others watching
But I could not explain to them
The motions I felt
With your arms around me
I saw the ground
But you lifted me up
I couldn’t touch it
You didn’t kiss me
But I leaned on you like
You were granite and you
Stayed right there
It is innocent
For now
But I could love you for a moment
It must be something in your eyes
For when they looked at me
They promised
That someday you and I my friend
Will be more than what we are now
