Venus and a Red Moon

There are the bucks and doe and the melee of a March twilight. There's a waxing hare of the moon chasing Venus across the sky, As red as madness, it disappears under the horizon. There is blackness as the stars are still for a moment; they're so shiny. I just keep looking up. It is perfectly gorgeous tonight.
