the bellino flower
just a flower
on the wide open plains.
at the mercy of the lighting,
and the driving rain.
the water rises then falls again.
leaves one wondering,
how something so fragile can sustain.
the wake of the storm
threatens to wash you
away.
somehow you find the strength,
to see another day.
the sun rises,
the stars fade away.
you're there bringing beauty
to the world,
with all the innocence of a little
girl.
in my heart you'll always have a place,
where you can find shelter from the wind
and driving rain.
on the wide open plains.
at the mercy of the lighting,
and the driving rain.
the water rises then falls again.
leaves one wondering,
how something so fragile can sustain.
the wake of the storm
threatens to wash you
away.
somehow you find the strength,
to see another day.
the sun rises,
the stars fade away.
you're there bringing beauty
to the world,
with all the innocence of a little
girl.
in my heart you'll always have a place,
where you can find shelter from the wind
and driving rain.
