Silence

dark
like something emerging from a moonlight swamp
wet and haggard
tired
clawing from the depths of despair
with a lust for living
a want for breathing
an animalistic hunger
pressure and knowledge are one
wishing innocence
wanting to not understand
needing to forget
to not not comprehend the meaning in his eyes
of his smooth body language
looking for love in lust
dejected
pinned
staring blank at the ceiling
fingers tapping to break down the bars
freedom
boredom leads to deviant thoughts
deviant thoughts lead to deviant actions
deviant actions transforming
wild eyes stare back from the mirror
destructive, alone
crushed ...
stuck in this purgatory of maddening silence
and maddening thoughts
no way out
no voice to call with
but pleading for help
begging for pleasure
and peace of mind
yearning to touch , to feel ,to own
taunting , mocking silence
is all that answers
so quiet that thoughts are heard like human voices
they can convince of things uncertain
of things unreal
