Love don't cost a thing
I love me enough for both of us
Why does it pain you so to give love
And terrifies you even more to accept it
Why do you treat it as a curiosity
Like it’s something to be admired, but not handled
Like a priceless work of art...
Who broke you?
Who took your spirit?
Who crushed the wonder of life from your psyche
And left only a glassy eyed angel who exists but doesn’t live
We have no problem with trading our essence
You kneel at my altar and get me dripping in a heartbeat
You sup my sweet nectar like its life sustaining
And when we come up for air it’s on a sigh, a moan, a groan
My body is a slave to your will
You get lost in me and I almost feel capitulation
You command me to cum and I obey
And I love it when you rush to join me over the edge
But just like that, I feel you withdraw
Even though I’m still sheathing you
Why does it pain you so to give love
And terrifies you even more to accept it
I love me enough for the both of us
Why does it pain you so to give love
And terrifies you even more to accept it
Why do you treat it as a curiosity
Like it’s something to be admired, but not handled
Like a priceless work of art...
