Socially I'm disinclined to say what's on my mind
It turns my friends to a distance leaving me behind
If I show my eyes to you you'll likely turn away
Burdened by my past I'm suffered and afraid
Sing to me I'll look right through your lies
Writing words that others say just to pass the time
If you should feel my soul you will hear me through my tears
Lost in my dreams and strengthened when your near
Hope for me it's all we have tenderness I speak
Try and run back to your past I'll pull you when your weak
Rely on my time together my sustenance is all you crave
Distracted by your internet to social media you are a slave
Am I not that interesting or do you never care
Every time I needed you, you were never there
Can you say you did you best are you the one to blame
Or were you caught up in a choice that turned into a game
You will lose as you have no pieces on the board to play
So you will be stuck in memory and suffer every single day
