You Decide.
Honour, Dignity, Pride?
You can decide,
maybe you'll be snide,
possibly even deride?
As i said,
it's for you to decide.
Honour. Dignity. Pride.
Basic human courtesy,
manners, respect, politeness,
is for me,
the guidelines of how to live my life.
Be polite,
keep to your word,
be gentle and kind.
Never compromise yourself,
keep this in mind.
Show compassion,gratitude,
try being altruistic,
and always be humble.
Gracious in defeat,
humble in Glory as they say!
Of course, all this will never make your life complete.
It may help keep it,
a little bit more tidy and neat.
Maybe even a little bit more sweet.

John, this is well written and you had me more interested as ideologies became more numerous throughout the poem.
Then you finish with
"Of course, all this will never make your life complete. It may help keep it,
a little bit more tidy and neat.
Maybe even a little bit more sweet." The word "may," in these lines makes me want more. I feel as though there should be one or two more lines that start with the word "but"..

lol, thankyou very much pal, i really appreciate the feedback. I actually edited a good few lines out of this poem aswell. You most likely wouldn't have felt cut off! if i hadn't. Am learning. thanks again!
