In Her Box
She lied there alone hopeless without a word to speak.Motionless almost lifeless. No desire to breathe the air that's given but if it came without a price to pay.In her box, where her life stayed. In her box, where she cry's out to memories she'd never forget. Misery & pain filled her life. Anger & hate over poured her eyes, and in her heart she felt. But when the lights went out and darkness filled the sky her once locked soul is unleashed and released. As she moves slowly her unclench body, her fingers rolling up her shirt as she feels cold chills running down her spine & threw out her body. Her eyes open wide &the bite to her bottom lip as she sits up in bed. That familiar sound she hears coming from within, brings a smile hard to hide. She dances, as I watch her hips swaying back and forth to the motion of the music.Unleashed & released she screams, as she looks back towards that box lie'n on her bed she laughs, and as the night goes on she loves. Short lived as sunlight begins to brighten the sky.Back to her box where she knows she could always be, a kiss on the cheek & to say goodbye. As she stand there alone and confused starring at the reflection in the mirror, if she could only see, Its only Me.
