The evilness of abuse robs a child's natural sense of trust and love. A child's only recourse is to shut down. Then to spend a life time doubting hope.

Thank you R.T.--your words put alot into light for me...I've never quite looked at it in such a way...helps explain alot of the self doubt and second guessing of the actual "good"  encountered by victims.  with respect..domore
