I enchant you
with my gaze
and so you steal my eyes
I beguile you
with my words
and so you remove my tongue
I bewitch you
with my touch
and so you do away with my hands
I enthrall you
with my pleasing laughter
and so you replace it
with muffled screams
You take away everything that I am
Still
every time
when you bring me back to myself
with warmth and gentle petting
and I can finally
look into your eyes
I always know
that I still have you
