Reflection of Truthful Lies
Crazy to think
That if I cut my eyes out
I would be able to see clearer
Even more so to think
If I cut my heart out
I’d become more human
There is a pain I live with
That can’t be explained
Even though I’m wounded
Through the cover up
You can still see sorrows stain
Crazy to think
That one day life will take my soul
And for once I can maybe live
Even more so to think
Than I am a live right now
Yet feel the constant embrace
Of none other than the grim reaper
Everything I’ve become
Has been born through a thousand lives
There isn’t one of them I can believe
To tell the truth of who I am
Instead I see a thousand lies.
That if I cut my eyes out
I would be able to see clearer
Even more so to think
If I cut my heart out
I’d become more human
There is a pain I live with
That can’t be explained
Even though I’m wounded
Through the cover up
You can still see sorrows stain
Crazy to think
That one day life will take my soul
And for once I can maybe live
Even more so to think
Than I am a live right now
Yet feel the constant embrace
Of none other than the grim reaper
Everything I’ve become
Has been born through a thousand lives
There isn’t one of them I can believe
To tell the truth of who I am
Instead I see a thousand lies.
