He Lost his Scripts
He had forgotten how to love
It was too long ago
The memory of those evenings
Of love and giving
Were fading away
It was no longer real
He was with someone
Whom he said he detested
He told another he loved her
But he forgot what he said
Or whom he loved
Or whether it was real
He was caught in a web
he woved around himself
A story line he could not undo
He was tied to a past
He could not remember
He misplaced his scripts.
