I wish you'd open your eyes
And see how beautiful you are
Beneath the darkness and pain
I see a bright shining star

Your eyes are soul stirring
Two beautiful emeralds, okay?
Tears fill them too often
I wish I could chase them away

Chica you're a work of art
A masterpiece of great design
Every time you walk by me
I'm thinking "Damn, she fine!"

I wish that you'd see yourself
The way that I look at you
Maybe I'm a creepy weirdo
For watching you the way I do

But you're a mesmerizing girl
Your smile lights up my heart
I love your funny expressions
Sexy the way they really are

Your face is a beautiful one
That suspiciously reminds me
Of a cute cuddly kitten,
Excuse this crazy cat lady

You're insane, you're amazing
I have a gorgeous best friend
And I'll always be here for you
It's ride or die till the end

I like this poem a lot -- I don't think you are a creepy weirdo at all -- you see beauty in the soul that shines outward and are able to pick up on it I am guessing, because by writing this poem I know you are equally as soulful and beautiful. Perhaps she sees beauty in herself too but has been hurt a lot so tries to hide it from others as if to protect it from the harsh world around her.
