The Sun Grew Cold
The moon whispered to the sun, "I am not worthy of your love".
The sun responded, "then why do you chase me?"
The moon had no answer. She was lost within herself. She was so consumed by her past that the sun could never truly make her happy.
The sun knew this. The sun was lost. The sun was so consumed by his unbearble need to produce planets that tears fell.
Fires blazed for eons.
Skies bled.
The earth welped seas.
The sun grew cold.
He was destined to be alone.
He swallowed one last cosmic breath and vanished.
The people looked up and saw nothing...
But a fading light.
Then there was darkness.
