Heart hold

The sheets were pooled down at an angle
as I spoke from under the umbrella
held in Her comforting care
we laid there for ours
tickling fancy, sips from wetted lips
holding on to what we grabbed
the pound of flesh known as Oh'd
She had wept upon the sunrise
I had screamed into knightfall
and here we were captives
of each others beating heart
touching Heaven on shared wings
such things dispel hell on earth
living within eyes of a perfect storm
I had been hidden for such a long time
but She pulled back the cover
and there found each other
squeezing the juices lemon lime
in sugared time
