unbridled mind    
     fed by the passionate fires    
of my own excited freedom    
     so alive in this day    
bright sunlight barking    
     wild clouds dancing    
across sky s  high  blue stage    
     thoughts lost  un crowded    
in this expansive      
     soundless desert    
where cactus stand    
     like egyptian obelisks    
preaching the true      
     living gospel of sun to  
rock  thorn  cacti  sage and sky    
     in scorching sermons    
of spring erupted flowers    
     truth ablaze upon the ground    
more revealing and healing    
     than that found on any page    
the living word seen and felt    
     in every color  form and hue    
faithful bees  seizing the day    
     on bent pollen knees    
so much grace    
     in their give and take    
surely they must taste    
     the sweet kiss of creator      
in each vital sip of nectar    
     and see his shining face    
reflecting back with perfect    
     love at them  in every    
bright  precious drop    
     of sacred morning dew    
for surely  they too like me      
     are fully alive in this day    
fed by the passionate fires    
     of their own excited
