Image for the poem Star light

Star light

From much dust adrift the inky void
gathered in hushed loving float
mingled cosmic kisses where pull became thrust
heat so entwined twinkled into starshine
As a universe opens its babied eyes
Cries unto the dark that pierce hearts
wailed in the form of comets
such tails shall never fade
but glow in silvered revelry
speeding through the bosom of being
as the cradle rocks and sways
think not of brink blinks
but universal infinite dreams
one that you can own
one from long ago
there out on an edge hanging by a thread
you can unravel fantasy
by two steps ahead
let it always be known
that a starchild is never alone
for dreams are possible
wherever one roams
walking tall upon the dust
we the flicker of light
radiate

Where shall You shine
