Angered by the sound
of your memory
crashing through
my thoughts
once again
I scream
inside myself
stirring up the fires
of my own
personal hell
there he burns
for eternity
inside me
a constant revere
of a dark tragedy
charming the snake was easy
bewitching spells were cast
now I pay
3 fold
forever
ashes form over
charred hearts
branding them useless
the raven heart
will never love again
my head pounds
as you drift away
tears fall
thoughts of you
ruining another day

Oh Nikki the sadness of departed love, the pain of separation that cannot be assuaged. Such drama here well written poet sweet, sad and beautiful.
