l'inspiration aléatoire
I buy random magazines
so I can get lost in strange and disturbing articles
like the guy who cut and peeled a tattoo from his leg
for art
and always I stop and pause to wonder how life would look
though their eyes
via nude photography, violent performance art
crazy comics and strange oil paintings
Because I never it made it as an artist
loved the idea more than I loved giving birth to pencil on paper
or brush on canvas
never felt as free as those that can truly paint their demons
and the wonders of the world that I just can’t quite seem to grasp
I’d rather be inspired and lose my breath in the beauty
of looking and seeing, listening and hearing, layering my retinas with
constant images in an effort to understand the story behind
the things that inspire my curiosity and dormant creativity
that can only come out in words
