The thorns pierced his brow
as he hung upon the cross
Son of God, King of kings
Never before a greater loss
You ask us to forgive,
sad truth is we never can.

who killed the son of man?

Forgiving is one of the most difficult tasks, I think...However, some things are unforgivable...

The act of forgiveness is an act of the strongest,
though I agree that with some as they step over
the line and tear it to shreds, there are limits

It was an inability to forgive those accused of killing the son of man that nurtured much historic anti-Semitism - although Jesus Himself was in blood a Jew. Even as late as turn of 19th /20th century (it was said by Tsarist official in 'Fiddler on the Roof') Jews were derisively known as 'the Christ killers.'
