my promise
A promise i made almost three hundred years ago
I felt lost and stupid
Now the promise is complete
I loved you and loved another i did
apoligize is one thing i refuse
Discrete you say
But more of a lie
You did my sister
As i did your brother
The promise was to fall in love so you could be free
But you screamed and i lied
The hurtful words that flowed through you mouth
Now you are free with all that you are
And set for what will come
The promise you left
Is the promise
Now your almost gone
So i say sleep wake up
Then leave
Your mothers death doesn't mean come back
Now your dad is promising
But my promise is now to never love
Listen to the music
Remove the mask
And lay down with me
Promises are so sad
But this is time
This is old
My promise says goodnight
Sleep well six feet under
I felt lost and stupid
Now the promise is complete
I loved you and loved another i did
apoligize is one thing i refuse
Discrete you say
But more of a lie
You did my sister
As i did your brother
The promise was to fall in love so you could be free
But you screamed and i lied
The hurtful words that flowed through you mouth
Now you are free with all that you are
And set for what will come
The promise you left
Is the promise
Now your almost gone
So i say sleep wake up
Then leave
Your mothers death doesn't mean come back
Now your dad is promising
But my promise is now to never love
Listen to the music
Remove the mask
And lay down with me
Promises are so sad
But this is time
This is old
My promise says goodnight
Sleep well six feet under
