In Search Of

Read the piece
On magic books
To find or seek
The magic spells
Of potions known
and yet unseen
for peace on earth
Good will to Men

Flitting headaches
Magic songs
Chanted by priestess
Long ago
In magical isles
With howling gales
Druids chant and chant they still
Yet secret potions it stayed lost

Never will mortal find
the piece of peace
For lost it is until one cease
To seek the silvery kerchief
On another’s sleeve
The powdered wigs
are long gone
on height with those who till the land

On another region live
Hamadryades living on dreams
To return where autumn thrives
October sun on misty glades
Never more can they return
Innocence gone
As is the piece of tranquillity
An empty piece of sky

Frothy waves encircles
Soul’s gossamer sprites
Born too late in sunlit land
Tolling bells on ancient books
Light the candles
Light the wick
Cauldron simmers
Bubbles wishes.
