Fallen Storm
So cold yet so warm
Your love is like a seasonal storm
I caught a cold with a face warm fever
I fall like the autumn leaves
The next you degrade me and my heart shatters into a winters ice storm
Then next your love wraps my soul into a beautiful warmth
But our crazy, sweet, bipolar love, is as beautiful as the flowers blooming in the spring
Yet I get stung
by the summers cruelest wasp
Unlike a bee it doesn’t sting me and then die
I’m continually stung
For some incoherent reason I go back
To be stung again
Presumably because I can’t get away
I’m continually drawn in by how beautiful you are
And the facade of how perfect our love is
And how you shine like the summer’s day.
I’ll go back to you until the day I die .
