Will I dream?
Filled with sadness like
a deep, mortal wound.
Wound that feels like
it will never heal.
A sorrow that pervades
my waking life.
In dreams I can forget
and not feel.
In sleep I can escape
and be as nothing.
Perhaps in death
I'm released forever.
But will I dream?
